During lockdown I came across an online writing challenge – The Moving Type. After the publication of a first tone-setting chapter, the project encouraged other writers from all over the globe to submit follow-up chapters to create a collaborative story.
Every week a submission of between 500 and 1000 words was accepted and added on to the story. As I liked the collaborative nature of the project, I decided to join in and wrote chapter 30.
One year later and more than a hundred contributors onwards, a printed copy of The Moving Type landed on my doormat. The book has been published by Austin Macauley Publishers and all proceeds go to charity.
